Retaining walls are needed to keep soil from shifting when there is uneven terrain between two pieces of land. These walls are serious business and at AMM Fencing, we take great care to build them right. We place our retaining wall posts four feet apart (as compared to eight feet apart for fences) to ensure extra support. We use pressure-treated Douglas fir to resist rot and decay. We place a French drain behind the wall, when necessary.
We incorporate our customers’ preferences as well. Want fencing above the wall? Of course. Prefer the wall to stand alone without fencing? No problem. We build it right. But we make it yours.
